Senior Associate Leads 4PP In GPS3/14/2024 ![]() 4 Point Play (4PP) is a sports and mentoring program for young people ages 13 and up., located in Southern MD. They do athletic training and assessments, AAU games and tournaments, community service, character building and mentoring. They also support their members during the AAU off season, by continuing training and support no matter where they attend school in the DMV area. On March 9, 2024, Anthony D. Bobo, Jr. (Senior Associate, The Joseph Factor Group) worked with the young men of the 4PP basketball team as they kickoff their spring and summer AAU season. He navigated the young men through their G.P.S. (Goals, Passions, and Strategies). Pastor and Coach Duane McKinney (Encounter Church) reflected on the experience, “It was so powerful to hear all of their insights and how they can help each other reach their goals! Looking forward to doing this on a regular basis!” Bobo explained to them G.P.S. and the importance of planning. The young men then expressed their G.P.S. in an artistic fashion through individual boards. One of the parents shared, “Today XXXXX returned home excited and very motivated by the excellent activity. Thank you all for the support you have given to our son and our family. We are happy to have arrived at the home of the warriors.” “Look, I am all in when it comes to empowering our young men! But I must say, these young men are special! They are kind, supportive of one another, yet strong and determined,” Bobo talks about the 4PP players. “It’s an even greater encouragement to work with a pastor (Pastor and Coach McKinney) who believes in our community and pours into people both in and out of the church.” To learn more and to support, check out 4PP.
